Everyman Cinema in Chelmsford has finally revealed when it will be opening.
The first films at the luxury cinema will be shown on Friday, December 16 so it will be open in time for Christmas.
The four films that will be showing when it opens are Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Sully, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Moana.
The very first movie to be shown at the Chelmsford complex will be Rogue One, which will be screened at 5.50pm.
Bookings are now being taken on the Everyman website, with tickets costing £13.80 for adults and £9 for children.
Details of new films and events will be revealed on the website every Monday evening so film fanatics can book up in advance.
Everyman cinemas are different to typical screens as the seating is made up of luxury sofas and armchairs with comfy cushions and everyone has a small table for their food and drink.
CEO of Everyman, Crispin Lilly, told Essex Live recently: "We are aiming to make people fall in love with the cinema again. We can't wait for the people of Chelmsford and Essex to see the new Everyman cinema. It will be worth the wait."
At the entrance of the cinema there will be Spielburger restaurant serving stone-baked pizzas as well as quality burgers and hot dogs. There is also a large bar serving a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks, including wines and prosecco.
The staff act as hosts for each customer, welcoming them to the cinema and offering hospitality at all times.
There are five main screens in Everyman Chelmsford, of varying sizes. The biggest screen has 114 seats and the smallest has 58, with the cinema capable of holding a maximum of 350 cinema-goers at any one time.
There is also a sixth, smaller screen which has its own bar and is available for private hire for birthdays, presentations and events.
